Dunkerque Views is based upon a subjective study of the city of Dunkirk. Starting from a series of audio-visual portraits of the city during the current year, the purpose of the project is to give to the inhabitants of Dunkirk another view of their town. Several viewpoints are getting attention in the project: life downtown and on the beach, the carnival, the port. At the end, the project wants to express itself in a video installation accompanied in situ by a website. It is an invitation to the people of Dunkirk to (re)discovering their town with the opportunities of contemporary media.
